2015/16 Signing-on-night

Preparation for the forthcoming 2015/16 season is well under way. Signing on night for the new season will take place at Fresh Egg’s offices in Buckingham Road in Worthing Town Centre. The event is from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

Information required for signing-on:

  • Two up-to date pre-cut passport size pictures (they cannot be last years)
  • For new players the, Club requires a copy of the child’s birth certificate

All the relevant signing-on documents will be available on the night.

Player membership prices are going to remain the same for the 2015/16 season, to recap, these are:

  • Junior Atoms: £25 per season
  • Under 7’s and Under 8’s: £50 per season
  • All other age groups: £100 per season

Some good news for parents with more than one child at AFC Worthing Youth. The Club is introducing a sibling discount for the new season. The sibling discount is 10% for any additional child.

The Club are also happy to accept membership fees in two parts. First payment will be required on the night, the second payment will be due on September 1st (before the season commences). If you wish to take advantage of paying in two parts, the Club will require a post-dated cheque on signing-on night.

As well as team coaches, the Club Committee will be hand to see you.

The Fresh Egg’s offices are really easy to find. The offices are right behind The Body Shop in Montague Street and underneath the multi-story car park in Buckingham Road, Worthing.

Presentation night

The annual end-of-season presentation night ceremony is now firmly in sight.

The Club will send further details about the evening shortly. Future information will include player award categories, instructions on how to vote as well as the event time. I can reveal presentation night will take place at Worthing Rugby Club.

There will be a bar and a DJ in what will be a great opportunity for us all to get together and celebrate the efforts and achievements of the players and teams. Presentation night is also a great time to say thank you to the coaches and of course you, the parents, for your fantastic support during the season.
